Senior Veterinary Nurse

Location : Labrador Park

Job description:

• Assist veterinarians in consultations, treatments, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures.
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including monitoring, administering medication, and post-operative care.
• Supervise and mentor junior veterinary nurses and support staff.
• Manage stock, equipment, and maintain cleanliness of the clinical environment.
• Support in developing and implementing practice protocols and standards.
• Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding treatment plans, preventive care, and general animal health.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold best practices in animal care.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Nursing or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a veterinary practice, with prior senior or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and surgical nursing skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to patient welfare.
