We’re looking for an experienced
Lead Veterinary Technician / DVM to guide our nursing team, manage clinic operations, and oversee inventory control.
Position Overview
This leadership role blends hands-on clinical work with team management and operational oversight. The Lead Veterinary Technician / DVM will work alongside veterinarians, lead and mentor vet nurses, and ensure the clinic runs smoothly through efficient inventory management and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, supervise, and mentor veterinary nurses to maintain high standards of patient care
- Perform veterinary examinations, diagnostics, and treatments as needed
- Assist in surgical procedures and oversee post-operative care
- Manage medical inventory — order supplies, track stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and medical protocols
- Conduct staff training, performance reviews, and workflow planning
- Collaborate with management to improve clinical and operational efficiency
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a veterinary clinical setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with veterinary inventory systems is an advantage
