Position: General Manager

As the construction company’s top decision-maker and leader, the General Manager is fully responsible for formulating and executing the company’s overall strategy. This role oversees the entire value chain—from land acquisition, project investment and financing, product design and construction, to marketing, sales, and asset operations.

The core objective is to maximize investment returns, enhance brand value, and achieve sustainable and high-quality growth for the company.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Planning & Decision-Making
  • Formulate and implement the company’s medium- and long-term development strategies, annual business plans, and budget schemes.
  • Make final decisions and manage risks on major investment projects (e.g., land acquisition, equity partnerships).
  • Represent the company in handling key external relationships, including with government authorities, financial institutions, and strategic partners.
  1. Investment & Land Acquisition
  • Lead the investment and business development team to identify market opportunities and build reliable land information channels.
  • Oversee feasibility studies, financial modelling, investment analysis, and negotiations for land projects; ensure accountability for land reserves.
  • Supervise government approval and permitting processes for early-stage projects.
  1. Project Development & Construction Management
  • Take overall responsibility for project lifecycle management—quality, cost, safety, and schedule.
  • Supervise design, cost, and engineering teams to ensure all phases—from planning and design to construction and delivery—meet company standards for quality, budget, and progress.
  • Make decisions on major technical solutions and key procurement contracts within projects.
  1. Marketing & Asset Operations
  • Develop and execute overall marketing strategies and sales plans to achieve sales and cash flow targets.
  • For investment-holding assets (e.g., commercial complexes, office buildings, long-term rental apartments), lead the operations team in developing leasing, operations, and asset management strategies to enhance asset value and rental income.
  • Bear ultimate responsibility for brand building and corporate reputation.
  1. Corporate Operations & Financial Management
  • Fully oversee daily corporate operations, optimizing organizational structure and management processes.
  • Lead the finance team in capital planning, fundraising, and tax optimization to ensure healthy cash flow.
  • Approve major financial expenditures and contracts.
  1. Team Development & Corporate Culture
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing management team.
  • Establish and promote the company’s culture and core values to strengthen team cohesion and morale.
  • Implement an effective performance management system to incentivize teams to achieve company objectives.

Job Qualifications:

  1. Education & Experience
  • Master’s degree or above in Architecture, Engineering Management, Real Estate, Economics, MBA, or related fields preferred.
  • At least 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, with a minimum of 10 years in senior management positions (e.g., President, Vice President, General Manager) at large-scale real estate groups or regional companies.
  • Proven track record in full-cycle management of multiple mid-to-large scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use development projects, with complete experience in land acquisition, development, sales, and operations. Candidates with similar experience in Singapore are preferred.

  • Team Leadership: Adept at talent selection, development, and motivation of high-performing teams.
