Strategic Communications & Content Development
  1. Assist in developing, writing, and editorial oversight of high-impact content across all communication platforms, including speeches, press releases, op-eds, newsletters, annual reports, and social media.
  2. Champion and enforce consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all touchpoints.
  3. Plan and produce content and editorial calendars aligned with organizational goals.
  4. Develop and produce presentations, publications, and thought leadership materials to position the Foundation as a leader in kidney health journey
Public Relations & Media Strategy
  1. Develop and execute proactive strategies to elevate the Foundation’s profile, strengthen media relationships, and manage reputational risks.
  2. Serve as a key liaison to media partners, handling interviews, press engagement, and media outreach.
  3. Monitor, evaluate, and report on media coverage, sentiment, and trends to inform strategic communications.
  4. Craft clear, compelling messaging for spokespersons and media statements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management
  1. Cultivate and manage high-value relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare partners, media, donors, patients, and community leaders.
  2. Organise and implement strategic engagement initiatives—forums, closed-door dialogues, and stakeholder roundtables.
  3. Capture stakeholder feedback to strengthen advocacy narratives and engagement approaches.
Campaigns & Event Communications
  1. Develop communications plan and craft messaging for public campaigns, policy advocacy, and major events.
  2. Develop event communication toolkits, including talking points, speeches, multimedia materials, and post-event coverage.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver seamless, high-impact public-facing initiatives.
Leadership, Team Collaboration & Culture
  1. Provide guidance and support junior executive and interns.
  2. Contribute to a collaborative, proactive, and values-aligned team environment.
Job Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in English Language, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with experience in healthcare or related industries preferred,
  • Experience: 1-2 years marketing, public relations, communications, and social media marketing preferred.
  • Attitude and Skills:
  • Self-starter, able to generate new ideas to add value to the foundation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities and meticulous project management skills.
  • Proficient in English with good copywriting skills.
  • Able to communicate well with the press and external stakeholders.
