Business Development Engineer - Geylang
Job Summary
The role is responsible for executing a wide range of duties encompassing pre-sales support, project management, and technical coordination related to system integration, energy monitoring, and energy management solutions. This includes leading proposal development, engaging with clients to understand technical requirements, and designing high-level solution architectures during the pre-sales phase.The role also involves managing project timelines, coordinating resources, and ensuring successful delivery. The individual will oversee on-site system configuration, perform Testing & Commissioning (T&C), and support client satisfaction throughout the solution lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Sales Support & Solution Design
Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to qualify leads and identify client needs.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
Develop customized solution architectures aligned with client specifications and regulatory standards.
Prepare scope of work (SOW), Bill of Materials (BOM), technical write-ups, and assist in costing for tender and proposal submissions.
Provide technical clarification during bid evaluations and customer discussions.- Site Coordination, Execution & Monitoring
Supervise on-site work, handle problem-solving, and perform system configurations.
Attend site meetings to ensure timely, safe, and efficient project execution.
Foster and maintain good working relationships with internal teams (Sales, CSEs, Marketing, and Business Development) and external parties (suppliers, contractors, installers, and clients).- Reporting & Documentation
Prepare and submit detailed project completion reports
Maintain accurate project documentation for internal and client use.- Safety Compliance
Oversee subcontractors during project execution.
Ensure full compliance with workplace safety and health regulations across all project phases.- Customer complain and handling
Address and resolve technical complaints regarding system integration and energy solutions.
Document all complaints and resolutions, identifying trends to improve service and solutions.
Technical Competencies
At least Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with system integration, energy monitoring systems, and energy management platforms.
Required Experience
Preference have 2–3 years of relevant working experience in: System integration / Energy monitoring and management

Strong understanding of:
- Control and monitoring system concepts
- IoT market trends
- Sustainability standards and best practices
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges during project execution
