Vice President (Finance)

Candidates with regional finance leadership experience and prior capital market exposure will have a distinct advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Financial strategy and analysis

• Provide professional financial analysis and insights to guide decision-making and ensuring alignment with overall corporate goals.
• Monitor key financial performance indicators, identify trends and recommend strategies to optimize financial outcomes.

1. Strategic financial planning

• Work closely with CEO and CFO to define financial objectives, assess opportunities, and to provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop comprehensive financial proposals and business cases for new initiatives, capital investments and potential partnerships.

1. Investor relations and reporting

• Interface with investors, analysts and other stakeholders, providing clear and concise financial updates.

1. Risk management and compliance

• Stay informed on latest changes in financial regulations and reporting standards and make necessary adjustments to financial practices.
• Implement effective risk management strategies to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

1. Regional Finance Management (Preferred):

• Oversee or coordinate financial operations across multiple countries within the region.
• Ensure alignment with regional regulations, tax structures and reporting requirements

1. Capital Market/Public Company Readiness (Preferred):

• Support or lead initiatives related to capital market readiness, listing requirements, investor relations and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with auditors, investment bankers, and external advisors as needed.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related field.
• Proven experience in finance leadership role, demonstrating track record of financial strategy development and implementation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Good command of English with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting tools.
• Exceptional leadership and stake holders’ management capabilities.
• Ability to read and understand documents written in Chinese, in order to perform work-related reviews and ensure accuracy in documentation while collaborating with China offices.
• Candidate with experience in HKEX and SGX reporting would have added advantage.
