Position Overview
The Vice President of Global Sales is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding international market presence, and building a world-class sales organisation. This role requires a strategic leader with deep global experience who can design and execute scalable go-to-market strategies, lead high-performing teams across regions, and align closely with marketing, product, and operations to deliver consistent results.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s global sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
- Lead regional sales teams (e.g., Americas, EMEA, APAC, Middle East) ensuring alignment with corporate goals and local market dynamics.
- Provide market intelligence to inform pricing, product positioning, and business development decisions.
- Sales Management & Growth
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics including pipeline health, conversion ratios, and regional sales targets.
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and channels for growth.
- Drive enterprise-level customer acquisition and long-term account expansion.
- Oversee strategic negotiations and high-value contract closures with key clients and partners.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier sales talent globally.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and performance excellence.
- Implement best practices in sales methodologies, forecasting, and CRM use.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing to ensure alignment between demand generation and sales execution.
- Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to ensure customer feedback is integrated into product roadmap and service delivery.
- Work with Finance to set sales budgets, forecasts, and incentive plans.
- Executive & Board Reporting
- Present regular performance reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board.
- Contribute to the company’s overall strategic planning and decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience
- Proven track record of driving high revenue growth across international markets.
- Deep understanding of complex B2B sales cycles; experience in Defense and Geospatial Industry is preferred
- Strong financial acumen, negotiation, and contract management skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-cultural management capabilities.
- Willingness to travel globally as required
