Senior Sales Executive (Chemical/Plastics)

Salary: S$3,600 - S$4,400

Our client is a Japanese company specializing in the distribution of plastic resins, electronics, and chemical products. They are currently seeking a Senior Sales Executive (Chemical/Plastics) to join their Chemical Sales team.

Reporting to: Deputy General Manager

Farming 50%, Hunting 50%

• Support in executing sales directions and achieving revenue targets.
• Manage and grow relationships with assigned clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Identify new business opportunities and lead generations.
• Conduct technical discussions and product presentations with clients, including procurement and R&D teams.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms in line with company policies. Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, technical, finance) to ensure timely delivery, service, and prompt payment collection.
• Monitor market trends, activities, and customer feedback to share with management.
• Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM tools.

• Diploma in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry
• 3-5 years of regional sales experience within plastics/chemicals manufacturing/suppliers in the plastics industry
• Strong understanding of polymer materials and their industrial applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Excellent communication in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking counterparts
• Willing to travel within Asia for business trips, when required
• Able to join within 1 month or on short notice

• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license & own car will be an advantage (Car allowance will be provided)
• Experience working in Japanese MNCs
• Knowledge of sustainable or specialty polymers
