Finance Executive (Financial Reporting & Fixed Assets)

Responsibilities

Manage month-end closing activities including depreciation, property tax, accruals, and investment-related accounting entries.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Handle fixed asset management including asset registration, stocktake, disposal tracking, and capital expenditure reporting.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and schedules.
Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
Prepare and submit GST/SST returns and statutory reports to relevant authorities.
Support financial analysis and prepare management reports and presentations.
Assist in the review and implementation of accounting policies, financial processes, and system enhancements.
Liaise with external auditors and support annual audit activities.
Ensure timely completion of assigned finance and reporting tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, general ledger, or accounting functions.
Hands-on experience in month-end closing and fixed asset accounting.
Knowledge of GST/SST, financial reporting, and audit processes.
Familiarity with MFRS/IFRS accounting standards is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
