We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in the West Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, building relationships with key clients, and expanding our market presence in the region.
What you'll be doing- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the West Region
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Provide regular updates on sales activities and performance
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date with market trends
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a new business development or sales role, preferably in the marine industry
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities
- Familiarity with the new business development industry and its trends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
