Traineeship Description

This position reports to the Key Account Manager. Manages the regional bid/tender process end-to-end to support new business wins, maximize strategic accounts, and drive innovation. Drafts and curates compliant proposals and sales collateral; coordinates timelines/deliverables with Sales; supports forecasting and performance reporting; and gathers market/tender intelligence.

Acts as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on client requirements, risks, pricing structures, and service transition planning post-award.

Responsibilities
  1. Tender Management & Proposal Writing
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end tender process for new business opportunities
  • Draft, format, and submit proposals in a clear, professional manner aligned with corporate and industry standards
  • Ensure all tenders are compliant with internal governance and external client requirements
  1. Advisory & Stakeholder Support
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, interpreting client requirements and identifying potential risks to the business
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Managers to qualify tender opportunities and guide them through timelines and deliverables
  1. Opportunity Identification & Delivery
  • Proactively identify new tender and bid opportunities
  • Coordinate all aspects of the tender process to ensure timely and high-quality submissions
  • Develop transition plans and service delivery guidelines for post-award implementation
  1. Sales Enablement & Insights
  • Ensure all sales proposals and collateral are up to date, standardized, and aligned with brand and service standards
  • Contribute to sales performance reporting, forecasts, and market intelligence gathering
  • Support specific sales process tasks that improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction
Competencies to learn
  1. Tendering & Proposal:
End-to-end management of tenders, RFQs, and sales proposals to support new and existing business opportunities. This includes ensuring compliance with client requirements and internal governance standards.
  1. Commercial Acumen:
Understanding the commercial drivers behind staffing and workforce solutions, including pricing, margins, and cost structures.
  1. Analytics & Reporting:
Supporting sales performance tracking, pipeline reporting, and management insights through accurate data analysis.
  1. Communication:
Producing clear, professional written and verbal communications to support sales activities
  1. Customer Focus:

Support the sales team in delivering a strong client experience by aligning proposals to client needs, strengthening our value proposition, and supporting deal conversion. Work closely with regional stakeholders and provide light client-facing support to ensure consistency and responsiveness throughout the sales process.
