Business Development Manager (Freight Forwarding) - Hunter / Farmer

Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Freight Forwarding & Supply Chain Solution. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a multiple headcount of Business Development Manager to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team.
They are located in Central and East area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities across Singapore for logistics and supply chain services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and propose customized logistics solutions, including sea, air, road transport, and other value-added services.
- Drive revenue growth by acquiring new accounts and expanding existing client relationships through cross-selling and solution-based approaches.
- Lead end-to-end sales activities, from lead generation and client meetings to proposals, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Prepare and manage tenders, RFQs, and proposals in alignment with client requirements and internal guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, pricing, procurement, and finance) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in CRM systems, including sales pipeline, account details, and revenue forecasts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth and service improvements.
- Achieve assigned sales targets, KPIs, and revenue objectives.
- Travel within Singapore as required to meet clients and develop new business opportunities.
- Provide regular reporting on sales activities, account development, and market insights to management.
- Support business improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance operational efficiency and client experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration/Sales/Logistics, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, with a strong track record in acquiring new clients and growing accounts.
- Strong business development mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in managing sales pipelines, tenders, and customer relationships would be advantageous.
- Comfortable with travelling within Singapore for client meetings and business development activities.
