About the Role?

This role reporting to the GM Sales Southeast Asia is focused on developing and executing sales strategies that drive car rental, chauffeur and leasing bookings from all Asian source markets including but not limited to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Philippines, Indochina into destination markets across Asia.

Under the leadership and stewardship of the GM Sales, The Business Development Manager will target commercial segments, leveraging a strong regional network and deep industry knowledge to grow Hertz’s intra-Asia and inbound business for Asia.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead business development efforts to grow inbound and outbound intra-Asia car rental sales from key Asian source markets.
  • Support and work with Singapore, China, South Korea and Japan sales teams to help define sales strategies and identify opportunities pan Asia.
  • Develop tailored sales campaigns and initiatives to stimulate demand from source markets into destination Asia.
  • Work with franchise partners in Asia to uncover leads for growth across Asia and ensure products and pricing align to franchise needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing, pricing, and franchise teams to ensure alignment of regional strategies and customer experience.
  • Lead the delivery on projects, reporting, presentations and RFP’s as and when required.
  • Represent Hertz at regional trade shows, travel fairs, and industry networking events.
About You?
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a regional business development or sales role. Experience within car rental, travel, or mobility sectors will be an advantage.
  • Proven success and knowledge to drive inbound and outbound travel sales across multiple Asian markets.
  • Strong network of corporate clients and travel management companies in Asia.
  • Deep understanding of intra-Asia travel flows and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel across the region.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional Asian languages is a strong advantage.
