Procurement Executive (Indirect / Pharmaceuticals)

Our client is a Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Solutions industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for Procurement Executive (Indirect) to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in East.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement operations.
• Handle sourcing requests and initiate procurement activities for products, services, and materials.
• Issue RFQs, liaise with vendors, and perform site visits when necessary to gather information.
• Consolidate vendor quotations and create clear, accurate comparison tables for decision-making.
• Negotiate prices and terms with vendors to ensure competitive sourcing outcomes.
• Manage purchase requisitions and prepare purchase orders (POs) upon approval.
• Track PO acknowledgements, deliveries, and coordinate advance payment processes with Finance.
• Support vendor onboarding, registration, and maintain proper documentation for contracts.
• Monitor contract expiry dates, assist in renewals, and participate in vendor performance reviews.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including RFQs, quotations, approvals, purchase requisitions, POs, and contracts.
• Generate regular reports on procurement activities, PO status, and turnaround times.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide updates on risks or delays.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain timely and professional communication with all vendors and stakeholders.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min NITEC/Diploma in Supply Chain Management studies or equivalent.
• Min 3 years experience in end-to-end procurement operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and ERP System will be advantageous
• Familiarity with PR/PO processes and basic procurement software.
