Sales Manager (Freight Forwarding) 3PL MNC

Salary: $4000 to $8000 + monthly commission (high comm structure) + VB (1 month-1.5/2mth)

Working Hour: Mon - Fri, 8.30am-6pm / 9am-6.30pm (1.5hrs Rest)

Responsibilities:

• Identify and secure new business opportunities for freight forwarding and integrated logistics services including air, sea, and contract logistics solutions.
• Build and maintain a portfolio of customers across industries requiring transportation, warehousing, and distribution services.
• Develop pricing proposals, logistics solutions, and service quotations based on customer shipment requirements and trade lanes.
• Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure feasibility of proposed logistics solutions and service execution.
• Monitor sales pipeline, track potential opportunities, and maintain accurate records of commercial activities.
• Conduct market mapping to identify target industries, trade flows, and potential customers requiring freight forwarding services.
• Manage account onboarding processes including service scope confirmation, quotation finalisation, and operational handover.
• Review shipment volumes, revenue performance, and margin contribution for assigned accounts.
• Work with internal departments to resolve service or operational issues affecting client shipments.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Experience in logistics sales, freight forwarding, or third-party logistics (3PL) business development.
• Knowledge of international freight operations including air freight, ocean freight, and cross-border logistics.
• Familiarity with logistics pricing structures, quotations, and trade lane management.
• Exposure to CRM systems, sales reporting, or pipeline tracking tools.
