Senior Engineer

Working Days: 5 days

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Work Planning

• Lead and supervise a team of field technicians to ensure efficient execution of daily technical operations.
• Plan, schedule, and allocate technician work assignments across deployment, maintenance, and service tasks.
• Monitor technician performance and ensure adherence to safety procedures and operational standards.
• Provide technical guidance and on-site support when required.

1. Site Deployment & Maintenance Operations

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and deployment of equipment at project sites.
• Manage preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to ensure systems operate reliably and efficiently.
• Oversee corrective maintenance (CM) works to resolve system failures promptly.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet service level requirements and operational standards.

1. Corrective Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and repair connectivity issues, mechanical jams, thermal inconsistencies, and power faults.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and monitoring systems to identify root causes of failures.
• Coordinate with factory engineering teams for advanced troubleshooting, firmware updates, and component replacements.
• Escalate and document technical issues requiring engineering review.

1. Spare Parts & Inventory Management

• Oversee spare parts inventory and maintain accurate stock records.
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts required for maintenance operations.
• Monitor spare parts usage and coordinate replenishment with procurement teams.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliation.

1. Documentation & Reporting

• Ensure proper documentation for installation procedures, maintenance records, and service reports.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and service logs.
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with company documentation and reporting standards.

1. Fault Analysis & Predictive Maintenance

• Analyze maintenance records and system performance data to identify recurring faults.
• Prepare reports on fault trends and operational reliability.
• Forecast spare parts requirements based on maintenance history and usage patterns.
• Propose preventive measures and technical improvements to reduce system downtime.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in technical service, field engineering, or maintenance operations.
• Experience supervising or leading technical teams.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools, network troubleshooting, and system maintenance procedures.
