We are hiring a for Senior Application Engineer (VFD, Lower Power Inverter) for a listed Group of Companies who are in manufacturing, sales, installation, maintenance and engineering across various business – Motion Control, Robotic, System Engineering

Drive Application (Lower Power/ Inverter) Senior Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Provide pre and post sales technical solution for inverters / drives;
2. Site troubleshooting and LV drive commissioning
3. Organize in-house trainings for Sales and Marketing team;
4. Provide technical trainings/ seminars at consultants/ end-users’ premises;
5. Assist sales team in regional distribution network expansion;
6. Able to compose bill of materials based on tender specifications
7. Provide customer support by responding well to customer technical questions and understanding customer technical requirements to propose optimal solutions to strengthen customer relationship and trust
8. Conduct market studies and feedback
9. Prepare technical manual/ articles
10. Creation of technical database

1. Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in handling low voltage electrical products such as drives/ motors/PLC, preference in VFDs;
2. Willing to provide hands-on pre & post sales technical solutions to support sales team
3. Strong site troubleshooting and application skill
4. Project management skill is a plus
5. Confident in conducting technical trainings and technical presentations to partners and customers
6. Willing to provide hands-on pre & post sales technical solution
7. Solution oriented mindset
