Kitchen Helper

We are seeking a Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. If you are responsible and have basic food preparation knowledge, we would like to meet you.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist chefs with basic prep work, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
• Operate the industrial dishwasher and hand-wash larger pots/pans. Ensure all cutlery, crokery, and cooking utensils are sanitized and stored correctly.
• Maintain a clean workspace by regularly wiping down counters, sweeping and mopping floors, and clearing trash bins.
• Assist in receiving deliveries, checking for freshness, and organizing the walk-in-chiller/freezer using the FIFO (First-In-First-Out) method.
• Adhere to all SFA food safety and workplace safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination or accidents.

• With at least 1 year working experience in commercial kitchen or F&B environment. Entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn are welcome.
• Possession of a valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1) is required.
• Ability to stand for long period of time.
• A team player and ability to work well under pressure.
• Must be able to work on flexible working hours including weekend and Public Holiday.
