About the role
As a Kitchen Helper at K.COOK KOREAN BBQ', you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our fast-paced, vibrant kitchen. Joining our hardworking team, you will be responsible for a variety of essential duties to ensure the successful delivery of our high-quality Korean BBQ dishes.This full-time position is located at our Woodleigh Central Region restaurant, offering competitive pay and the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic hospitality environment.
What you'll be doing- Assisting our talented chefs with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area, ensuring all equipment and surfaces are sanitised to the highest standards
- Restocking and replenishing ingredients and supplies as needed
- Supporting the cooking process by helping with tasks such as plating, garnishing, and serving dishes
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations to uphold our commitment to customer satisfaction
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve efficient and timely service
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive, cooperative attitude
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- The physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
