Cloud Solution Architect

An exciting opportunity to work with a leading Technology organization as their Cloud Solution Architect.

As a Principal Architect, you will provide strategic technical leadership, guide architecture decisions, and mentor engineering teams while driving innovation across cloud infrastructure and services.

This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale cloud transformation initiatives, shaping enterprise hybrid cloud strategies and delivering secure solutions for mission-critical workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises infrastructure with public cloud platforms.
• Design scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient architectures across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud.
• Develop architecture blueprints, reference architectures, and design documentation.
• Provide leadership in enterprise cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.

• Architect and implement robust cloud security controls, including identity and access management, data protection, network security, and monitoring.
• Ensure solutions align with industry security standards and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Implement security governance practices including vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response strategies.

• Design hybrid architectures that seamlessly connect on-premise environments with public cloud services.
• Implement secure connectivity solutions such as VPNs, private networking, and network segmentation.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for cloud environments.
• Ensure reliable backup and recovery mechanisms for critical systems and data.

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.
• Lead architecture workshops, design sessions, and technical discussions with internal teams and clients.
• Support solution development and proposal activities by defining technical approaches.
• Mentor architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

• Establish frameworks for cloud performance monitoring and optimization.
• Implement cost management strategies to maximize efficiency of cloud resources.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend solutions that enhance infrastructure capabilities.
• Lead research initiatives and contribute to internal best practices and architecture standards.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10-12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5-7 years focused on cloud architecture and implementation.
• Strong expertise in cloud security principles and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform:
• AWS
• Microsoft Azure
• Google Cloud Platform
• Proven experience designing hybrid cloud architectures integrating on-premise infrastructure with public cloud services.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and segmentation in cloud environments.
• Experience with DevOps practices and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Work on large-scale cloud architecture and transformation initiatives.
• Influence the design and strategy of modern hybrid cloud platforms.
