0518 - Project Engineer (Construction / 2 Years’ Contract – Renewable) - Bukit Merah

Role:

• Singapore Based (Office at Paya Lebar, project site at Tuas, PUB’s Tuas Water Reclamation Plant (TWRP) project (For scheduled site visits, it will be direct report. Pick-up time 7.30am at Exit A of Tuas West Road MRT))
• 5 Days work per week (Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm)
• Salary Range: $ 3,000 - $ 5,500 (Depending on experience and qualification)

Job Description:

• To carry out project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation.

• To review project specifications and technical clarifications.
• To prepare method statements and check drawing discrepancies.

• To work closely with site team and coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants, and sub-contractors on technical matters.
• To involve as main liaison person with our China head office and Chinese suppliers in technical discussion.

• To target and ensure timely and smooth progress of works.

• To ensure quality of works is achieved and WSHE regulations are complied with.
• To ensure project activities complied with the company’s ISO system.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a Diploma in any Mechanical or Metallurgy discipline.
• At least 2 years working experience in the construction-related industry.
• Proficient in the use of CAD software and able to read / interpret mechanical drawings.
• Proficient in using Microsoft office suite (Excel, Words & PowerPoint)
• To visit the worksite for follow-up and technical discussions as and when required.
• Comfortable with hybrid working conditions between office (in Ubi / MacPherson area) and site office (PUB TWRP project in Tuas South).
• Candidates with MOM’s WSHMCI (previously known as BCSS) competency will have added advantage
