About the role
Join the dynamic sales team at WANCO ELECTRIC PTE. LTD. as a Project Sales Engineer. In this full-time role based in the Jurong East West Region, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding the company's customer base.As a key member of the sales function, you will play a crucial part in the overall success and expansion of the organization.
What you'll be doing- Identify and prospect for new sales opportunities within target markets
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to acquire new customers
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales leads and opportunities
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the company's products and solutions.
- Negotiate and close sales deals in a timely and professional manner
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
- Provide market intelligence and insights to improve sales strategies and processes
- 1-3 years of proven experience in a sales development or new business acquisition role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence customers
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft tools to manage work flow
- Familiarity with the electrical accessories, M&E and/or industrial products industry
- Diploma in Business or Engineering
- Driven, ambitious and passionate about achieving sales targets
