Assistant maintenance engineer - hvac & hydraulic system - singaporeans only

We are looking for a proactive and technically competent Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team. Candidate with knowledge of diesel engine-based power systems, hydraulic systems, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems.

The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure the optimal operation of all electro-mechanical infrastructure

1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance of electro-mechanical systems including diesel power generators, hydraulic equipment, and HVAC systems.
2. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control faults across a wide range of Mindef equipment.
3. Overhaul and repair diesel engine components, hydraulic pumps, actuators, and HVAC units (compressors, blowers, etc.).
4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and generate service reports for equipment status.
5. Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics for repair and maintenance tasks.
6. Support in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
7. Collaborate with other engineering and operations teams to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
8. Adhere to company safety and quality standards during all maintenance operations.

1. Nitec or Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
2. Practical knowledge of diesel engine power plants, hydraulic systems, and HVAC systems.
3. Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on maintenance experience
4. Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
5. Familiarity with HVAC system components such as compressor, condenser, evaporator and electrical control panels.
6. Understanding of preventive maintenance practices and safety protocols.
