A Retail Operation Manager in a money exchange business isl position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple money exchange branches, ensuring high profitability, strict regulatory compliance, and excellent customer service
- This role bridges corporate strategy and branch-level execution, often involving cash management, FX rate monitoring, and team leadership.
- Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations of branch networks, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and vault security.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and other financial regulations. This includes monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and ensuring documentation is secure.
- Financial & P&L Management: Assume full P&L accountability for branches, aiming for profitability, managing cash flow, and achieving key operational KPIs.
- Branch Performance: Monitor daily FX rates and transaction volumes, implementing strategies to improve performance and operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership & Management: Recruit, train, and manage branch managers and supervisors, fostering a high-performance culture and managing staff schedules.

- Experience: 4 years of retail operations management, with significant experience in multi-site management, ideally within banking, fintech, or money exchange industries.
- Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of regulations and financial auditing procedures.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams across multiple locations.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in using data analytics to monitor performance, analyze market trends, and manage P&L.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is often preferred.
- Technical Proficiencies: Familiarity with Forex trading systems and money transfer technology.
Flexibility: Ability to work retail hours, including weekends (depending on branch requirements).
