The HR Executive supports the day-to-day human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration. This role ensures smooth HR operations, maintains accurate records, and supports company policies and processes to foster a positive and compliant work environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, screening, and interview scheduling
  • Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documents
  • Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR systems
  • Handle work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations
  • Manage attendance, leave records, and staff documentation
  • Prepare HR-related letters (confirmation, warning, termination, etc.)
  • Administer employee benefits and claims
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries
  • Support in handling employee issues and disciplinary matters
  • Promote a positive and professional work environment
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining HR policies and SOPs
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing systems
  • Assist in general office administration and coordination
  • Plan and support company events, internal and external initiatives
  • Assist to ensure the upkeep of company pantry and common staff usage areas
  • Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of HR or administrative experience preferred (fresh graduates may apply)
  • Knowledge of local employment regulations is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information
  • Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to raise concerns, provide feedback, and engage with employees at all levels
  • Experience handling blue-collar / site workforce
