HR Executive

The HR Executive supports the day-to-day human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration. This role ensures smooth HR operations, maintains accurate records, and supports company policies and processes to foster a positive and compliant work environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, screening, and interview scheduling
- Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documents
- Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Maintain and update employee records and HR systems
- Handle work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations
- Manage attendance, leave records, and staff documentation
- Prepare HR-related letters (confirmation, warning, termination, etc.)
- Administer employee benefits and claims
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries
- Support in handling employee issues and disciplinary matters
- Promote a positive and professional work environment
- Assist in implementing and maintaining HR policies and SOPs
- Maintain proper documentation and filing systems
- Assist in general office administration and coordination
- Plan and support company events, internal and external initiatives
- Assist to ensure the upkeep of company pantry and common staff usage areas
- Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of HR or administrative experience preferred (fresh graduates may apply)
- Knowledge of local employment regulations is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information
- Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to raise concerns, provide feedback, and engage with employees at all levels
- Experience handling blue-collar / site workforce
