Production Supervisor (manufacturing/CNC/precision) [AJ]

We are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a machining and assembly team in a fast-paced precision engineering environment. This role is key to driving production efficiency, quality, and team performance while meeting customer delivery requirements.

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the production line, including monitoring output, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions
• Provide hands-on guidance and training to production employees to uphold safety standards and operational excellence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and coordinate production schedules, manage inventory, and optimise workflow
• Analyse production data and prepare regular reports to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and industry regulations
• Foster a positive and engaged team culture, recognizing and rewarding employee contributions

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Substantial experience (5+ years) in a production or manufacturing supervisory role, preferably within the CNC or precision engineering industry
• Demonstrated expertise in managing production operations, including scheduling, quality control, and process improvement
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead a diverse workforce
• A commitment to promoting a safe and efficient work environment
