Our esteemed client in the Transportation/ Logistics industry is seeking an Operations & Trade Pricing Executive to join their dynamic team:
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Position: Operations & Trade Pricing Executive
- Location: Central
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
- Salary Package: Basic + Bonus
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end international trade processes for global shipments, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and timely.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and customs brokers to facilitate smooth cargo clearance and delivery.
- Manage and verify critical shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Prepare necessary import/ export permits and trade declarations.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients regarding pricing inquiries and shipment updates.
- Support the negotiation process with global partners to secure competitive shipping rates.
- Assist in sourcing and onboarding new overseas agents or service providers to expand operational reach.
- Keep abreast of international customs regulations and trade policies.
- Ensure all shipment activities adhere to global import/ export laws.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, such as shipment delays or customs inquiries.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, trade operations are preferred. Inexperienced candidates with a strong academic foundation or internship experience are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.
- A basic understanding of international trade or logistics processes is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn and engage in pricing and operational discussions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
