The candidate will be the lead on brand story-telling, responsible for creating thematic narratives for the purpose of creating awareness and education about the IMDA’s role in the areas of infocomms, media and tech industry. He/She will be responsible for ideating for the brand and developing creative campaigns that will resonate across multiple touchpoints/platforms to drive IMDA’s corporate brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Distilling and integrating core messaging across multiple business units into simple and engaging stories that will resonate with diverse target audiences
  • Translating stories into necessary content/campaign ideas to reach relevant target audiences
  • Working with relevant third-party agencies (research, media) to flesh out creative ideas and campaign plans to effectively and efficiently reach target audiences
  • Spearhead the translation of creative ideas into narratives that will resonate across owned media such as website and social media platforms
  • Working with a creative partner to bring ideas into life – whether in the form of a campaign or event or activation
  • At least 8 – 10 years of working experience in creative industry/creative agencies OR 8 – 10 years of managing/working with creative agencies Client-side roles
  • Experience in engaging with and/or managing senior stakeholders a must
  • Understanding of audience insights, research data with ability to connect between data points and communication messaging
  • Understanding of media consumption patterns of B2C and B2B target audiences
  • Understanding of brand values and attributes, and potential trigger points that may impact on such values and attributes
  • Broad understanding of infocomm and technology concepts
  • Ability to balance right-brain and left-brain thinking to produce effective output that will drive resonance amongst audience groups

Skillsets:

  • Creative-thinking ability necessary
  • Good presentation skills necessary, with demonstrated ability to present to large audiences and/or senior stakeholders
  • High energy, thrive on challenges and driven to deliver on-time, on-brief and on-budget
  • Understanding of production processes across multiple touchpoints helpful
  • Understanding of strengths/weaknesses of different touchpoint as part of story-telling a plus
