Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) efforts for critical incidents and ensure permanent corrective actions are implemented.
• Reduce operational toil through intelligent automation and process improvement.
• Develop and refine monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Collaborate with application teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Participate in infrastructure reviews and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and security standards.
• Document procedures and share knowledge across teams to drive operational excellence.

Requirements:

• At least 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or cloud operations roles.
• Proven hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
• Strong expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Deep understanding of incident response, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Practical experience with monitoring and observability platforms (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance, government) is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Highly independent, detail-oriented, and organized in managing operational priorities.
