Your Role

You will lead the Lean transformation and Operational Excellence agenda for the Singapore Fab.

You will drive a strong culture of continuous improvement, operational discipline, and innovation to achieve sustained performance across Safety, Cost, Quality, Cycle Time, Productivity/Efficiency, and People Engagement.

You will work closely with the Front-End Manufacturing Asia Operations Regional General Manager and site leadership team, to define, deploy, and sustain the site’s operational excellence roadmap. You will act as a key change leader, building Lean capability across the organization and enabling measurable, long-term improvements in fab performance.

• Define and execute the site Lean and Operational Excellence strategy in alignment with business priorities and fab KPI targets.
• Drive a strong Lean culture across shopfloor and management levels by embedding Lean thinking into daily routines, leadership behaviors, and organizational processes.
• Develop, coordinate, and track a structured roadmap of continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational performance and sustain gains.
• Train, coach, and mentor managers, animators, and key stakeholders in Lean methodologies such as AVP, QRCI, 5S, A3, OBeya, and structured problem solving.
• Lead and facilitate Lean workshops, Kaizen events, and cross-functional improvement projects in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure workshop execution is aligned to operational priorities, with clear tracking of progress, outcomes, and deviation management.
• Establish a standardized approach for selecting and deploying appropriate Lean tools and CI methodologies across different areas of the fab.
• Partner with area leaders to ensure broad participation in Lean activities and to strengthen ownership at all levels of the organization.
• Lead the People Engagement Committee and implement actions that improve motivation, collaboration, accountability, and workforce efficiency.
• Drive organizational development initiatives and process improvements that enhance overall site effectiveness and operational maturity.
• Capture, standardize, and share best practices, lessons learned, and successful improvement methods across teams and sites.
• Work with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities where digital solutions and AI-enabled tools can improve workflows, decision-making, and productivity.
• Provide regular updates to top management on progress, risks, benefits realized, and next-step priorities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry, with strong background in production management, Lean manufacturing, or Operational Excellence.
• Proven experience leading improvement initiatives in a high-volume manufacturing environment; semiconductor manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Strong statistical thinking, creative problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong interest in applying AI and digital tools to optimize workflows and improve efficiency is highly valued.
