AVP/Senior Manager, Corporate Development (Business Excellence & Sustainability)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced AVP / Senior Manager, Business Excellence & Sustainability to drive operational excellence, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement programmes across a complex business environment.

This strategic leadership role will partner closely with senior stakeholders to improve operational performance, harmonise processes, drive cost reduction, and lead sustainability reporting and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Excellence & Operational Performance
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives across multiple business units to improve efficiency, performance, and process standardisation
  • Define, monitor, and improve performance indicators, KPIs, and incentive targets
  • Lead continuous improvement programmes and cost optimisation initiatives
  • Identify process simplification and business transformation opportunities
Sustainability & ESG Initiatives
  • Lead sustainability initiatives including environmental performance tracking and reporting
  • Drive sustainability programmes focused on GHG emissions, water reduction, waste recycling, and ESG performance
  • Oversee sustainability dashboards, reporting platforms, and records tracking to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Support deployment of enterprise sustainability frameworks and best practices
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead and coach specialist teams across quality, environment, and continuous improvement functions
  • Engage senior stakeholders across business units and corporate functions to align initiatives and priorities
  • Organise performance and sustainability review meetings, providing actionable recommendations
  • Drive enterprise-wide collaboration to deliver measurable business outcomes
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business excellence, operational excellence, sustainability, transformation, or continuous improvement
  • Strong understanding of Sustainable Business Practices, Sustainability Supply Chain Management ESG / sustainability reporting
  • Experience in process improvement, operational efficiency, and performance management
  • Preferred certifications in tailored and practical certifications e.g. ISO, Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement and Global Reporting Initiative Standards.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Analytical, structured, and results-driven mindset
