Project engineer construction

Job Summary

The Project Engineer ensures adherence to resource, quality, and risk standards while managing project profit throughout the project lifecycle. This role coordinates administrative processes, engages stakeholders, and leads teams to deliver building services projects that meet client and regulatory requirements.

• Plan, schedule, control, and coordinate building services works including preventive, breakdown, and addition & alteration (A&A) tasks
• Lead and supervise teams of supervisors and skilled workers to complete site works accurately and on time according to client specifications
• Liaise and conduct meetings with clients, managing agents, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide timely reports to management for informed decision-making
• Apply expertise in building-related works such as civil engineering, structural, architectural, building repair, carpentry, partition, A&A, renovation, electrical, and plumbing to resolve project issues and improve outcomes
• Manage subcontractors to ensure integration into project workflows and adherence to technical standards
• Coordinate administrative processes including reports, claims, invoice payments, and final project handover documentation

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering (Civil, Electrical/Electronic/Chemical, Mechanical), Building Services Engineering, Project or Facilities Management, or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years of experience in facilities or building maintenance industry
• Class 3 driving licence
• Self-driven and motivated to deliver service excellence
