About the role
Seng & Keng Construction Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in the Jurong East West Region. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, overseeing the technical aspects and ensuring the timely completion of all project milestones.
What you'll be doing- Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure the efficient and cost-effective execution of construction projects
- Coordinating with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks, and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process
- Providing technical support and guidance to the project team, including site supervisors and technicians
- Collaborating with the design team to review and validate engineering plans, specifications, and drawings
- Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of workmanship
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, with strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and the project team
- Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as relevant building codes and regulations
- Proficient in the use of project management software, CAD tools, and other construction-related technologies
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work
