Role Overview:

As a Technical Support Engineer at Transformists Network, you will be the first line of support for our clients and partners, addressing technical inquiries and troubleshooting issues related to our product offerings. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the high standards of service that Transformists Network is known for.

Technical Support Engineer — Requirements

Core Responsibilities
  • Resolve customer issues via phone, email, or remote support sessions
  • Reproduce reported issues in-house and respond in a timely manner
  • Configure and install network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS), perform system upgrades including patches and security configurations, and monitor performance for system availability and reliability
  • Collaborate with other Technical Support Engineers on cases to build shared expertise

Technical Knowledge Required

Key areas include storage concepts and terminology, hypervisor concepts, knowledge of Microsoft OS products, and knowledge of Linux OS
  • Virtualization & Cloud — Experience in virtualization and cloud computing is preferred.
  • Networking fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls, VPN)
  • Storage architecture (block, file, tiered storage)
  • Linux administration
  • Windows Server familiarity
