JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking dedicated and flexible Kitchen Assistants to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations during service. You will work alongside experienced cooks to prepare food and maintain high hygiene standards while contributing to the success of the kitchen.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly at appropriate temperatures
- Handling multiple food orders at one time
- Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed
- Help to prepare food before the arrival of the guests for special arrangement/ reservation
- Operates various kitchen appliances such as blender, oven, grill or stand mixer
- Cleans food preparation areas and maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen
- Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
- Utensils to be sanitized at the end of the shift
- Cleans up after business hours
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food-related role.
- Hygiene course certification or equivalent.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-based, fast-paced environment.
- Versatile and adaptable to changing tasks.
- Experience with cold menu preparation and handling ingredients is a plus.
