Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our engineering team. This role focuses primarily on Python development, with opportunities to work on industrial automation systems such as TwinCAT (PLC) and LabVIEW.

Candidates with a strong Python foundation and interest in cross-disciplinary engineering projects are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided for TwinCAT and LabVIEW.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Python applications, scripts, and APIs
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Support integration of software with industrial automation systems and hardware
Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting existing LabVIEW applications
Support TwinCAT (PLC) projects for motion control and automation (training provided)
Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams on system development
Prepare and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics)
1–3 years of experience (or relevant academic experience) in Python development
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures
Familiar with version control tools (e.g. Git)
Basic knowledge of debugging and software development lifecycle
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Exposure to LabVIEW
Familiarity with TwinCAT, PLC programming, or structured text (ST)
Basic understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g. OPC-UA, Modbus, EtherCAT)
Experience working with hardware, sensors, or data acquisition systems
