Operations Manager (End-to-End Operations Lead)

We are looking for a sharp, ownership-driven Operations Manager to own Farmio's physical supply chain in Singapore. This is a senior individual contributor and team lead role reporting directly to the Country Director. You will be the operational backbone of the Singapore business, responsible for making sure goods move accurately, efficiently, and on time, every day.
This is not a role for someone who needs a playbook. You will be diagnosing problems, building systems, leading a small ground team, and working cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and finance to keep the operation running and scaling.If you are energised by fixing things, building things, and owning outcomes end to end, this role is for you.
What You Will Own- Warehouse Operations
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including all inbound and outbound processes.
- Supervise warehouse assistants and ensure tasks are carried out to standard.
- Implement and improve warehouse workflows and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance at all times.
- Report on staff KPIs and inventory control metrics regularly.
- Inventory Management and Quality Control
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Conduct QC inspections on goods upon import and through periodic sampling.
- Monitor inventory ageing, expiry, shrinkage, damage, and discrepancies.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize losses and write-offs.
- Supply Planning and Chain Management
- Handle supply planning, forecast demand, and place orders accordingly.
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain and resolve delivery issues or disruptions.
- Ensure the supply chain remains smooth, stable, and sustainable as volume grows.
- Logistics and Distribution
- Manage all daily inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Oversee third-party drivers and logistics service providers.
- Ensure deliveries are efficient, cost-effective, and meet customer expectations.
- Continuously evaluate logistics providers for competitive pricing and reliability.
- Cost Control and Operational Efficiency
- Monitor and control warehouse and logistics operating costs.
- Track metrics such as cost per order, labour productivity, and fulfilment efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements that improve performance and reduce cost.
- Support month-end inventory reconciliation with the finance team.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with sales, procurement, finance, and technology teams.
- Prepare and present regular operational reports and performance updates to management.
- Supply planning accuracy and demand forecasting
- Inventory accuracy and discrepancy rate
- Inventory QC and customer quality complaint rate
- Inventory ageing, shrinkage, and write-off levels
- Warehouse productivity and labour efficiency

Qualifications
Required- Bachelor's degree in any discipline. We value analytical and business degrees but are open to any background.
- At least 3 years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven ability to analyse operational data and produce clear, actionable reports.
- Track record of owning outcomes end to end, not just contributing to team outputs.
- Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional coordination.
- Experience in food distribution, FMCG, or perishable goods supply chains.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems, ERP platforms, or TMS tools.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and SFA regulatory requirements in Singapore.
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Hands-on experience managing third-party logistics providers or transport vendors.
- Hybrid role combining regular warehouse presence and office-based work.
- Flexibility in working hours required to support operational and delivery needs.
