Job Summary
Provide comprehensive IT infrastructure and systems support to ensure stable, secure, and efficient operations of the Company’s Singapore manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing internal systems, supporting end-users, managing server and network environments, and strengthening information security practices to support both facility setup and ongoing operational needs.
Job Description- Perform routine maintenance of internal systems, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure proper stable and reliable system operations. (30% of scope)
- Provide support for end-user system operation issues, gather and confirm system enhancement requirements and propose appropriate solutions. (30% of scope)
- Responsible for system environment setup and maintenance, including system installation and version upgrades. (30% of scope)
- Install, configure, and manage server software and hardware, monitor server performance and perform tuning and optimization. (5% of scope)
- Support information security-related tasks and initiatives. (5% of scope)
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience.
- Possesses a Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Management, or other IT-related disciplines.
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Excellent spoken and written Chinese skills to support communications with regional stakeholders.
- Server and website administration and maintenance.
- IT infrastructure and equipment environment setup.
- Installation and maintenance of network security systems.
- Network system configuration.
- Computer hardware maintenance.
- Basic operating system operations.
- Network equipment installation and configuration.
- Firewall planning and management (Added advantage)
- System architecture planning and maintenance (Added advantage)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in computer hardware and network maintenance.
- Ability to plan IT and network infrastructure and troubleshoot network issues.
- Familiar with operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux/Unix. (Experience in Linux/Unix is preferred)
- Familiar with TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, and IP Address management.
