Quantity Surveyor

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Dong Jian (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a leading architecture and construction firm located in the North Region. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring cost-effective and efficient project delivery for drywall and ceiling.

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for construction projects
2. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
3. Monitor and control project budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities
4. Provide regular cost reports and financial updates to project stakeholders
5. Assist in the preparation of project feasibility studies and financial analyses
6. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure cost-effective design and construction solutions
7. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards

1. Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
3. Strong understanding of construction cost management principles, tendering processes, and contract administration
4. Proficiency in using construction cost estimating software and financial analysis tools
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
6. Familiarity with the local construction industry regulations and standards
7. Ability to work independently and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
