Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and Director of Human Resources, you shall be responsible for
Talent Acquisition- Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates from diverse backgrounds using various channels including job boards, social media platforms, and employee referrals.
- Conduct pre-screening interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit, and provide detailed feedback to hiring managers to facilitate the decision-making process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, keeping them engaged throughout the hiring process, and acting as a brand ambassador for the company.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to optimize the recruitment process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to talent acquisition, and share insights and knowledge with the team to enhance the overall recruitment function.
- Coordinating with hiring managers, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
- Creating and maintaining onboarding checklists, documents, and resources to guide new employees through the onboarding process.
- Ensuring that all necessary paperwork and compliance requirements are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Facilitating introductions between new employees and key stakeholders within the organization, such as team members, managers, and mentors.
- Providing ongoing support to new employees during their first few weeks on the job, answering questions, and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Continuously seeking feedback from new employees and incorporating it into the onboarding process to improve the overall experience.
- Provide advisory service to employees on HR matters
- Organize and facilitate in-house and/or offsite employees’ engagement activities, Townhall, Property orientation
- Champion tracking and liasing of Learning and Development matters
- Keying in casual labour profiles in Casual Labour system
- Assist and support the Director of HR in all HR-related matters including but not limited to recruitment; compensation and benefit; industrial relation; employee engagement & welfare and employee Recognition
- Any other suitable tasks as and when assigned by the Human Resources Manager or Director of Human Resources
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Administrative/Business Studies
- Familiar with MOM regulations, the Employment Act, and HR practices
- Exhibit good communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential
- Be a team player with a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation to complete tasks independently
- Available to start immediately or with short notice would be a strong advantage
- Preferably 1 to 2 years’ experience in Hospitality industry
