Event Assistant/ Manager – (Content and Engagement (12+12 months contract)
Content creation
- Write, edit, and optimize content for the Company Developer Portal.
- Translate technical topics into engaging, accessible content for different audiences (e.g., engineers, public officers, global tech leaders).
- Plan content strategy across digital platforms.
- Ensure content is SEO-friendly and aligned with best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, design, marketing).
- Stay updated with digital/tech trends to bring in fresh content ideas.
Event Management:
- Handling pre-event logistics (e.g., EDM preparation, F&B catering, and pre-event reports).
- Managing registrations (e.g., creating registration forms, tracking numbers).
- Overseeing event content (e.g., collecting and formatting materials from speakers/participants).
- Providing on-site support during events.
- Managing post-event tasks (e.g., post-event reports and After-Action Reviews).
Inbound Visits Support:
- Coordinating visits from foreign companies or delegations
Data Analysis:
- Analyzing data from events and AARs.
Administrative Support:
- Scheduling and organizing meetings.
- Preparing materials and writing minutes for meetings.
Requirements:
- Independent, proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented.
- Experience in event logistics, especially MICE events and AV operations.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with an interest in technology.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, and MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with the ICT sector (e.g., software development, data science, cybersecurity).
- Experience engaging foreign government stakeholders or international organizations (preferred).
Additional Skills:
- Ability to simplify technical content for diverse audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree holder relevant disciplines or equivalent
- At least 5 years of proven experience in marketing and communications especially on the digital front and experience in running large-scale events
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills to engage a wide spectrum of external and internal stakeholders, including multi-agency and cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, internal stakeholders as well as external partners
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing data and use of insight to design/iterate campaigns and initiatives to improve performance
- Understanding of the tech industry or public sector is an advantage, but not mandatory
- Proven track record of working effectively on multiple assignments at any one time
Salary Range : $6000.00 – S$7000.00
