Storekeeper (Warehouse Assistant)

Position : Storekeeper (Warehouse Assistant)

Specific Responsibilities & Authority:

• To ensure all Product in the warehouse are accounted for
• To ensure proper handling of all goods
• To ensure product is rotated to conform to first in-first out expiry policy
• To ensure that product is received in good condition and not damaged
• To perform QA procedures on all inbound product for the department complies with our food safety management system guidelines
• To inform the supervisor of any damaged product as soon as possible.
• To move product immediately to the designated location and raise the necessary documentation to record such damage
• To pick and stage outbound product to facilitate the inspection by Auditors
• To perform QA procedures on all outbound product for the orders
• To ensure that goods are stacked and palletized appropriately
• To assist the warehouse supervisor in carrying out regular inventory checks
• To ensure that the warehouse and work area is clean and tidy
• To assist the manager in any other areas of work pertaining to the receiving, storing and dispatching of products for the department
• To comply with all food safety management systems guidelines and standard operating procedures
• To observe safety rules at all times and comply with the company’s Workplace Safety & Health policies and guidelines
• Able to work in dry, frozen, ambience warehouse.
• Any adhoc duties as assigned

Minimum Qualification:

PSLE, or equivalent, or 3 years of relevant working experience; computer work, Microsoft Office, Excel is required for data.
