Project Engineer, PSD, Mobility Rail

About the Role:

We are looking for a Project Engineer to lead or support on‑site Testing & Commissioning (T&C) of Platform Screen Door (PSD) systems for metro rail projects. This is a hands‑on, site‑based role, ideal for early‑career engineers who want strong exposure to railway systems and live testing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in testing, commissioning, and integrated testing of PSD systems.
• Support execution of Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and trial operations with signalling and train systems.
• Conduct pre‑test checks, functional tests, and basic troubleshooting of mechanical & electrical components.
• Record test results, defects, and rectification status accurately with customers.
• Coordinate with installation teams, supervisors, and other rail system contractors during testing windows.
• Support night works, engineering hours, and service‑affecting tests when required.
• Update of system or project documents.
• Comply with approved safety procedures, method statements, and railway rules.

Requirements:

• ITE, Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• Interest or exposure to Testing & Commissioning, rail systems, or M&E works is an advantage.
• Able to read basic drawings, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
• Willing to work on site, including night shifts and weekends.
• Responsible, detail‑oriented, and keen to learn in a structured rail environment.
• Ability to work overseas.
