Project Engineer

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Puritec Technologies as a Project Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and managing the successful delivery of engineering projects, working closely with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.The position offers strong exposure to complex projects and excellent opportunities for career development within a progressive, technology-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and support the end-to-end delivery of engineering projects, from initial scoping and planning through to implementation and completion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, develop detailed work plans, and monitor project progress
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards
- Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation measures to keep projects on track
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and site teams when required
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, method statements, and lessons learned
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and communicate project status
- Assist in project tender preparation and cost estimation, including quantity take-offs and pricing, when required
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with project management tools, documentation, and basic scheduling techniques is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for tender costing, budgeting, and basic data analysis
- Min 2 years experience.
