Our client is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement within our production environment. This role plays a key part in enhancing manufacturing processes, supporting automation initiatives, and improving overall efficiency across the value stream.
Key Information:
- US MNC | Manufacturing Plant | Mon - Fri: 8am to 5pm
- Work location in Tuas, 10 mins walking distance from MRT

- Must come from manufacturing environment
- Analyse and optimise workflow, plant layout, and equipment utilisation to improve productivity
- Design and implement assembly fixtures and automation solutions
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Evaluate machinery and tooling requirements, and support capital projects
- Monitor and drive process and productivity improvements
- Develop and maintain ISO-compliant operational procedures
- Support ERP system processes and production documentation
- Create assembly instructions and training materials for production teams
- Contribute to global and cross-functional initiatives
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in assembly operations
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles; Six Sigma Green Belt is an advantage
- Experience leading Kaizen activities and delivering lean training
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, extrusion, machining, and fabrication
- Experienced in supporting automation initiatives
- Any ERP system experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications
