Assistant Manager / Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Welding & CNC Machining)

You’ll be working at the intersection of engineering, production, and commercial execution — where your decisions directly impact cost, quality, and delivery.

• Lead and optimise welding and CNC machining processes (turning, milling, multi-axis)
• Drive process development, qualification, and industrialisation for new and existing programmes
• Ensure manufacturing readiness from quotation stage through to production ramp-up
• Investigate and resolve technical issues on the shopfloor (e.g. weld defects, machining tolerances)
• Improve cycle time, productivity, and tooling strategies
• Partner with Operations, Planning, and Quality teams to ensure on-time delivery and cost control
• Support audit and compliance requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a strong engineering team

• Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related field
• ~8–12 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• Welding processes (procedure qualification, troubleshooting preferred)
• CNC machining (turning, milling, multi-axis)
• Experience in precision engineering or aerospace environment is highly advantageous
• Ability to balance technical depth with operational and commercial awareness
• Comfortable working closely with production teams and solving real-time issues

• Exposure to regulated environments (e.g. aerospace, oil & gas, high-precision industries)
• Experience in NPI / industrialisation / process validation
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
