SOKO' = Design options for our machine
The Engineer (SOKO & development) is responsible in ensuring timelines of SOKOs introduced to market and on time delivery of existing SOKOs. He/She will be in charge of monitoring SOKOs orders from customer, procurement of SOKOs, installation and delivery of SOKOs with machine(s) or spare part order(s).He/She will handle daily and weekly SOKO tasks, including weekly and monthly reports.
He/she will need to understand technical drawing details of design and testing of SOKO with responsibility of creating work instructions and test procedures in accordance with ISO9001 standards. These documentations provide the basis of build and test for both Production and System Acceptance which serves as key information in knowledge transfer process.
In the event of a technical query, he/she will be the first line of contact to clarify doubts and provide expertise to resolve issues. Whenever a customer complaint arises (OTB or customer defect) from SOKO, he/she is required to investigate the root cause and provide adequate actions to resolve the complaints from both short and long term.
Apart from SOKO activities, another major activity is sustaining of existing testers and the design of new testers for NPI activities. The need to sustain existing testers comes from the Engineering Changes initiated from PSG team, he/she will be required to ensure the up-to-date testing instructions and hardware of the tester.
To support on existing or new testers, he/she might help in hardware and wiring modification.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor SOKO order/s till delivery of SOKOs
- Creating work instructions and test procedures
- Quality control and investigation for SOKO related complaints from OTB or customer defects
- Coordination between sites to ensure SOKOs are in time for delivery
- Evaluating Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) created by PSG on impact to existing tester
- Modify cable wiring and hardware on existing tester
Requirements:
- Min Bachelor degree/diploma with at least 3 years' of working experience in Manufacturing or automation environment
- Able to interface with different departments and stakeholders
- Possess critical thinking and analytical skills
- Possess strong quality mindset
