Job Summary

Lead and manage a team of Shift and Assistant Maintenance Engineers to optimize wafer fab manufacturing operations, ensuring high equipment performance, product quality, and cost efficiency through technical support, training, and continuous improvement.

• Lead and motivate a team of Shift and Assistant Maintenance Engineers to achieve manufacturing and equipment performance goals aligned with company objectives
• Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing and equipment engineering teams to optimize equipment efficiency and product quality
• Liaise with external suppliers and cross-site professionals to address specific technical and operational needs
• Develop and implement technical training plans to enhance team skills and career growth through internal and external learning opportunities
• Collaborate with industrial engineering and planning departments to monitor equipment utilization and improve throughput based on production plans
• Analyze equipment capabilities, line layouts, and stability to identify and implement improvements for production flexibility and cycle time reduction
• Deliver technical solutions to resolve equipment performance issues impacting manufacturing output
• Review equipment spare parts inventory and maintenance costs to identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or speed
• Monitor spare parts consumption to prevent wastage and optimize resource use
• Evaluate operations, equipment, and materials for further cost reduction opportunities
• Facilitate and support iFIT projects and excellence programs to enhance process and equipment robustness, quality, and yield using problem-solving tools
• Lead cross-functional teams in resolving technical issues efficiently using Total Quality Management (TQM) tools such as 8D and FMEA
• Maintain and promote stringent safety standards, support Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) activities and audits
• Implement WSH programs in daily operations and conduct risk assessments, managing and enforcing Risk Work Permits (RWP) accordingly
• Monitor and maintain equipment and processes to conserve energy, water, chemicals, and gases, minimizing environmental contamination
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, ST’s Code of Conduct, and customer requirements in sustainability domains including social, ethics, environment, and health & safety
• Drive corrective actions and continuous improvements to achieve high sustainability performance within the department

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, or related field
• Proven experience managing engineering teams for 5+ years
• Technical proficiency with AMAT and/or Novellus semiconductor tools
• Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and data analysis tools
• Business proficiency in English
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead teams and liaise with stakeholders
