Maintenance Technician (MRT PSDs)

Job Descriptions:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Platform Screen Door (PSD) systems
• Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults, including control panels, motors, sensors, and wiring systems
• Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure PSD operational reliability and safety compliance
• Attend to system faults, alarms, and emergency breakdowns in a timely manner
• Interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals
• Carry out replacement of faulty components and system upgrades when required
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and procedures
• Support improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and performance

Requirements:

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience (rail or automation systems preferred)
• Experience in MRT / LRT systems or infrastructure maintenance
• Knowledge of PSD systems or automatic door systems
• Certifications in electrical safety or workplace safety (e.g. WSQ)
• Willing to perform shift work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
